Mary Shappee

​Mary has worked with Morgans for over 30 years.
She has a degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin. Mary is proficient in hunter pleasure, western dressage and western pleasure. Her focus is horsemanship as well as equitation. She has won her bronze medal in dressage and world championship titles in dressage while competing at local and national level shows. Many of her students compete in dressage, hunter and western equitation, and hunter over fences. Their accomplishments include regional and world championships. Several riders have won equitation medals and their bronze medals in dressage under Mary's guidance.  Mary believes that learning to care for a horse should go hand in hand with learning to ride. She strives to expand her equine education through clinics and continuing education opportunities. Although the majority of her work is with Morgans, she has worked with and shown a variety of breeds.
Shannon Braudway 
Riding Instructor

Shannon has been with Majic Stables for over 20 years. She attended West Texas A&M where she completed her CHA training to become a certified instructor. She works with many beginner riders and  provides them with a solid foundation of riding skills.  Many of Shannon's riders have gone on to become world champions. Although Shannon has been riding and  showing for many years, she became the proud owner of her first Morgan in 2018.

Gena McCook

Gena joined the Majic team in February of 2019.  She and her mare, Ruby, came to us from Twin City, Georgia. She has been riding Morgan's since she was 12 years old.  She received the reserve in the dressage medal at Morgan Nationals. She placed 5th out of 17 in the Hunter Hack.
